Our 10:30 Worship Service began with our pianist Catalin Dima playing various beautiful hymns.
Dr. Frank Alegria led the service with a welcome to all members, regular attenders, and visitors. The altar flowers were given to the Honor and Glory of God.
The Second Advent Candle – The Candle of Peace was lit by Haruna Minoura and the passage explaining the significance of this candle was read by Catalin Dima.
Pastor Frank again encouraged everyone to check the insert in the program and note that Wesley Village has been added to the schedule for 2025 Christmas Caroling Schedule for this Christmas season. It begins December 8th – 11th, and the following week from December 15th – 18th. You don’t have to be a member of the choir or the church. If you just like to sing Christmas carols, you are encouraged to come join this ministry.

Pastor Frank also discussed the Safety Committee meeting immediately following the service. Anyone who has skills that this Committee could use are invited to attend and join the meeting.
A Call to Worship, an Affirmation of Faith, and The Nicene Creed was recited. Prayer Concerns and Joys were heard, our pianist Catalin Dima played music for Sharon Watson who sang a solo during the offering, and a Pastoral Prayer ending with The Lord’s Prayer.

The Morning Message came from the scripture of Matthew 3:1-12 and the message was on The Proclamation of John the Baptist. Two Hymns were sung “Come, Thou Long-Expected Jesus” and “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel”. The close of the service ended with attendees joining hands and attendees were to take the love and peace of Christ with you, and the holding of hand signifies we can’t do this world by ourselves, and we need each other all the time and everywhere, and then the Service ended.
