TAP disks are here!
Introducing Tithely TAP
You may notice small discs placed around the church labeled Tithely TAP. These discs make it easy to connect with our church using your smartphone. Almost all phones released in the last 10 years possess this capability.
Simply tap your phone on the disc, and it will instantly open a webpage on your phone. From there you can give an offering, fill out a connection card, sign up for events, or access church information. No app, typing, or scanning is required—just tap and go. Actuallly you don't even have to tap; certainly don't bang it or slap it. Just bring it close to the disk.
TAP uses a short-range wireless technology called NFC (Near Field Communication) that allows your phone to open a specific link when it is placed close to the disc.
This is simply another convenient way to participate in the life of the church—especially helpful for those who don’t carry cash or checks. If you’d like to try it, just hold the top of your phone near the TAP disc and follow the instructions that appear on your screen.
