Sunday Worship Review - September 21

Our 10:30 Worship Service began with our pianist Catalin Dima playing various beautiful hymns. 

Dr. Frank Alegria led the service with a welcome to all members, regular attenders, and visitors.  There were two sets of altar flowers given to remember special occasions.  The first was given to the Honor and Glory of God and in celebration of Linda Martin’s Birthday September 18^th.  Wishing you a Wonderful Birthday Linda and many more.  They were given by her husband Jim Martin in honor of her birthday.  The second was given to the Honor and Glory of God and in celebration of Miles and Robbin Trumble’s 44^th Wedding Anniversary September 19^th.  Wishing you both many more years of good health and worshipping together at Lakeway.

A Call to Worship, an Affirmation of Faith, and Apostles’ Creed were recited.  Prayer Concerns and Joys were heard, the Choir sang during the offering and a Pastoral Prayer ended with The Lord’s Prayer. 

The Morning Message came from the scripture of Luke 16:1-13 and the message was on Integrity.    Two Hymns were sung “Standing on the Promises” and “Amazing Grace”.  The Sacrament of Holy Communion was held.  Attendees joined hands and listened to the benediction before the end of the Service.
