Dear Lakeway UMC Friends and Family,
It is 1:05PM, Wednesday afternoon. I am at the church writing this update about Sunday worship. The parking lot is covered with snow and ice. The roads from FM 120 to 289 North is covered with icy roads, with some slush. Traffic is minimal, and all are driving cautiously.
On Saturday, I will send out a decision about whether we will have worship service or not. Safety First. The weather forecast indicates that we will be above freezing during the day, but will it be long enough and conditions right to melt the snow and icy roads. Continue to call on your neighbors. Drive slowly. Know that God loves you.
