Our 10:30 Worship Service began with our pianist Catalin Dima playing various beautiful hymns.

Dr. Frank Alegria led the service with a welcome to all members, regular attenders, and visitors. The altar flowers were given to the Honor and Glory of God and in loving memory of his beloved wife Linda, and in remembrance of their anniversary.  Given by Richard Wilkinson.

Pastor Frank reminded attendees the Bible Study Class called We Believe – The Nicene Creed is in progress.  Classes are held on Thursdays from 10:00 – 11:15am. To keep the Congregation engaged in what the Bible Study Group is discussing, every 2nd and 4th Sunday, The Nicene Creed is recited in church.

A Call to Worship, an Affirmation of Faith, and The Apostles’ Creed was recited.  Prayer Concerns and Joys were heard, our pianist Catalin Dima played music for the Choir with Rachel Tillman leading during the offering, and a Pastoral Prayer ending with The Lord’s Prayer.

The Morning Message came from the scripture of 2Timothy 3:14-4:5 and the message was on An Excellent Way to Live.    Two Hymns were sung “He Lives” and “Lord, I Want to Be a Christian”.   The Attendees joined hands and listened to the benediction before the end of the Service.

Lakeway UMC welcomes anyone looking for a church home to come visit.  We love visitors and meeting new people.
